Job Description
Tembo Steels is seeking a dedicated Occupational Safety and Health Officer to oversee and implement safety policies within its manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of safety through training and incident investigation.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement OSH policies & procedures
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections and audits
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Investigate incidents & recommend corrective actions
- Conduct safety training & awareness
- Enforce use of PPE & maintain safety records
- Liaise with regulatory authorities
