ABC Capital Bank Uganda Ltd. is looking for a dedicated Network & IT Security Officer to ensure the integrity, security, and efficiency of our IT systems.
Role: Network & IT Security Officer
Department: Information Communication Technology (ICT)
Reports to: Head of ICT & Business Technology
Location: Bank Headquarters – Kampala
Status: Open role
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the bank’s ICT infrastructure and information assets through effective network administration, monitoring, and implementation of IT security controls.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Professional certifications: CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA +, (added advantage).
At least 3–5 years of experience in network administration and IT security in a financial institution or regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, routing protocols, and network monitoring tools (e.g. FortiAnalyzer, SIEM).
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, COBIT, ITIL).
