Job Description
Reporting to the relevant unit manager, the Multi-Skilled Operator will perform operational duties involving different heavy machines such as low bed trailer trucks, rollers, and water carts. The role includes performing community road maintenance, working closely with other operators and stakeholders, and ensuring machines are in good working condition by promptly reporting defects and breakdowns. The operator will be instrumental in ensuring that municipal road construction and maintenance projects are carried out effectively, safely, and in compliance with technical standards.

How to Apply

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 certificate.

Valid driver’s license Code 14 with PDP.
Certificate in operating machines (e.g., roller) is an added advantage.
Experience in road construction is an added advantage.
Competencies
Proficiency in operating multiple types of heavy equipment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to identify and report machine defects promptly.
