How to Apply
Prepare periodic work plans and budgets for the delivery of information and data management services
Conduct dissemination meeting for project indicators & targets
Ensure and maintain functional M&E Systems (including EMR, TASO MIS, membership, Fleet, Sysmics, KP tracker, PoC, etc.)
Trouble shoot all systems and provide IT desk support as required
Liaise with IT specialist to ensure quarterly and timely Generator and Computer servicing
Conduct and submit Annual IT inventory report to IT & M&E Advisor
Conduct weekly program data analysis to support programming (line listing etc.)
Conduct routine review of registers to ensure quality and proper documentation
Conduct Quarterly internal Data Quality Assessments and share reports with HQs
Conduct monthly spot checks community
Make and submit weekly, monthly and Quarterly HMIS and PEPFAR reports timely
Coordinate the generation of annual project Narrative reports to HQs
Develop and share quarterly Knowledge Management content (Fact sheet, Newsletter and Bulletin)
Spearhead the documentation of Success stories and lesson learnt per Quarter
Participate in Quality Improvement project at the centre.
Conduct Semi Annual Client satisfaction surveys at the centre.
Conduct monthly Mentorship sessions to data clerks in Data Management and reporting.
Make regular data backups
Ensure data security and take measures to ensure its confidentiality
Technically advise staff on proper and effective management of data and ICT equipment
Maintain proper records management systems
Supervise entry of service data at all levels
Effectively supervise and support Data Entry Clerks
Carry out quarterly Data Quality Assessment activities
Liaise with the relevant offices for effective and prompt maintenance, repair and servicing of ICT equipment
Develop and implement an effective organization performance management system
Key Outputs
Data bases and M&E systems managed and maintained
Subordinates supervised and data entry managed
Data cleaned and validated
Data demand and use improved
Success stories, best practices documented and disseminated
Technical support on M&E activities to CoE provided
M&E program activities participated in and logistical support to the projects provided
HMIS and Program reports prepared and submitted on time
Minimum Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics &Economics OR Business Computing.
Additional Training: Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation is a MUST.
Minimum Experience and Exposure: 4 years in data management preferably in health-related position. Experience in HIV/AIDs program and preferably a Health facility Setting is a MUST
