Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

About the Project
UIBFS is implementing the Catalytic Financing Partial Grant Scheme under the PREEEP Project, targeting demand-side SMEs. The scheme aims to:
Support at least 30 SMEs
Lower high upfront investment costs in Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) technologies
Promote shorter payback periods for clean energy investments
Job Description
The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the project’s M&E system to ensure performance is accurately tracked and results are reported effectively.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop M&E Framework
Design and implement a comprehensive M&E system including indicators, data collection methods, and analytical processes.
Data Collection
Gather data on project inputs, outputs, outcomes, and impacts.
Data Analysis
Analyze data to assess performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
Reporting
Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports (progress, evaluation, and impact assessments).
Evaluation
Conduct internal evaluations to determine project effectiveness, efficiency, and impact.
Capacity Building
Train and support project staff on M&E methodologies, tools, and practices.
Key Responsibilities Recap

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education
Bachelor’s degree in:
Social Sciences
Economics
Statistics
Public Health
Or related fields
Relevant Certifications (Preferred):
Certified Monitoring and Evaluation Professional (CMEP)
Certified Associate in Monitoring and Evaluation (CAME)
Experience
3–5 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation
Experience in:
Designing and implementing M&E frameworks
Data collection and analysis
Reporting and evaluation
