Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Screen, consent, enrol, and follow study participants
- Conduct study interviews and complete study source documents and case report forms
- Perform basic obstetric ultrasound examinations to support determination of gestational age and pregnancy assessments
- Provide counselling and education to study participants regarding study procedures and maternal health
- Monitor participants throughout pregnancy and support follow-up during the postpartum period
- Identify, collect, verify, and document maternal, pregnancy, birth, and neonatal outcomes
- Work closely with antenatal, maternity, labour ward, neonatal, and postnatal care teams
- Collect biological specimens and ensure appropriate processing and transport
- Participate in data collection, data entry, and maintenance of study records
- Support initiation, monitoring, and documentation of TB preventive therapy
