Job Description
As part of the Technical & Product Development Department, and reporting to the Head of Technical, the successful candidate will join a dynamic development team to design and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining Business Central applications and extensions using AL and C#, integrating with third-party portals, and supporting in-house and client ERP projects. The role also involves optimizing performance, participating in upgrades, managing documentation, and adhering to Microsoft best practices. The position requires strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and customize Business Central solutions
Build and manage AL-based extensions
Extend and maintain existing Business Central objects (tables, pages, reports, codeunits)
Integrate Business Central with third-party systems, portals, and e-commerce platforms
Develop and manage web services (OData/REST/SOAP) for data exchange
Collaborate with business analysts and consultants to gather and execute technical requirements
Provide technical support and optimize system performance
Participate in version upgrades and ensure compliance with Microsoft standards
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations and customizations

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
3+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central development
Strong AL and Visual Studio Code experience
Proficiency in C# programming
Knowledge of C/AL and transitioning to AL
Experience with API and web service integrations
Understanding of ERP business processes (Finance, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing)
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or equivalent
Mobile app development experience in any platform
Preferred:
Experience with portals or e-commerce platforms
Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or Power Apps
Microsoft certification in Business Central or related area
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
Attention to detail and good organizational skills
