Job Description
The ICT Assistant will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining ICT hardware and software systems. The role involves providing technical support to users, testing and monitoring ICT systems, supporting applications, and keeping accurate ICT asset records. The role ensures seamless communication and functionality of information systems throughout the organization.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Install and configure computer systems and software
Test simple computer programs according to given specifications
Provide support and troubleshooting to end users
Repair and maintain ICT equipment and peripherals
Monitor performance of ICT systems and infrastructure
Provide support for the Authority's application systems
Identify and report ICT faults for timely resolution
Maintain an up-to-date ICT equipment register
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution
Proficiency in computer applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision and within a team
