Job Description
The Medical Officer will be responsible for diagnosing, caring for, and treating patients across county health facilities. They will perform medical and surgical procedures, manage medicines, instruments, and equipment, and respond to emergencies and disasters. The officer will also participate in patient education, counseling, and record-keeping. Additionally, they will mentor medical students, nursing students, and interns while ensuring compliance with professional standards and constitutional values.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from a recognized institution.
Successfully completed a one (1) year internship in a recognized institution.
Valid registration license from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
Proficiency in computer applications from a recognized institution.
Understanding and commitment to constitutional values and principles (Articles 10 & 232).
Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 (integrity, leadership, accountability).
