Job Description
The MEAL Assistant (Kampala) will support monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities at the country office level, capturing and analyzing health data to inform program decisions.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze data from field sites across the country
- Support the preparation of weekly and monthly M&E reports
- Maintain data quality in national and donor reporting platforms (DHIS2, HIS)
- Support accountability mechanisms including feedback collection and response
- Assist in program evaluations, surveys, and learning activities
- Coordinate with MEAL Assistants in field sites to ensure timely reporting
- Document lessons learned and best practices for knowledge sharing
- Support the MEAL Officer in data verification and validation
