Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Recommend initiatives for the annual Marketing Work Plan for the Uganda market segment
- Implement the Customer Relationship Management program for improving customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Establish and maintain a reliable database for customer analysis and targeting
- Develop and implement the stakeholder engagement calendar
- Monitor business trends and market dynamics for targeted customers
- Monitor and analyze cargo traffic, market share trends and competitor activities
- Provide customer and market insights for reports and proposals
- Undertake customer visits to gather feedback and consolidate insights
- Liaise with key functional areas on resolution of customer issues
- Update customers on port services, trade facilitation initiatives and tariffs
- Organize and participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, workshops and conferences
- Prepare reports for marketing activities
