Job Title: Manager – Accounts
Organisation: Dream Africa Schools
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary: To oversee the school’s financial operations, ensure accurate accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, and maintain compliance with statutory regulations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations (accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Develop and monitor budgets in coordination with the Head of School.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle audits.
Supervise the accounts team and implement financial controls.
Advise the management on financial planning and cost-saving opportunities.
