Job Description
This position involves conducting detailed analyses and managing the strategic direction of BCB Credit operations, encompassing originations, account management, collections, and recoveries. The role demands close collaboration with credit, business, data, and operational teams to ensure alignment with regulatory, legal, and compliance standards. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical and technical skills to evaluate portfolio performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions to mitigate risk and drive performance.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Analyze and manage strategic initiatives in credit risk management for BCB Credit.
Collaborate with data, business, and credit risk teams to inform strategy.
Support decision-making processes using credit and portfolio performance data.
Ensure all practices comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Evaluate and optimize risk management effectiveness across the credit lifecycle.
Provide clear and actionable risk reporting and governance recommendations.
Lead and direct individuals and teams where necessary in the execution of credit strategies.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
First Degree in Mathematical Sciences, Risk Management, or Quantitative Studies.
Experience:
8–10 years of experience in credit risk, preferably in a business and commercial banking environment.
Demonstrated ability working with credit, business, data, and operations teams.
Prior experience in portfolio analysis or strategy development.
Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and compliance frameworks.
Technical Competencies:
SQL and/or SAS coding experience (non-negotiable).
