Job Description
Job Title: Manager, Boda Logbook Loans
Organisation: Mogo Loans SMC Limited
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Boda Logbook Loans Manager to lead our boda logbook loan sales operations at branch level. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for managing a team of agents to deliver quality leads and ensure loan disbursement targets are consistently achieved.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Drive boda logbook loan disbursements to meet or exceed branch monthly targets.
Recruit, onboard, and manage a minimum required active boda logbook agent at the Branch.
Ensure all agents:
Are active in the field daily.
Submit and adhere to weekly field activity plans.
Follow up on agreed daily plans and individual targets.
Conduct daily check-ins with agents to monitor activity, pipeline progress, and address any challenges.
Track and ensure timely submission of client files, maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Monitor agent performance:
Report daily and weekly branch performance updates to the Boda Sales Manager.
Maintain discipline, integrity, and a high-performance culture within the agent team.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achieving or exceeding monthly boda logbook loan targets.
Maintaining a minimum of consistently active and performing agents.
Quality and timeliness of weekly activity plans and reports.
Agent retention and productivity rates.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Proven experience in sales management, preferably in financial services, microfinance, or asset-based lending.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing field-based sales teams.
Excellent communication, reporting, and follow-up skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive sales targets.
