Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist (M,E&I) to support mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance activities during the commissioning and start-up phase of the Tilenga Project in Uganda.
Reporting to the Preservation / Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Specialist will lead hands-on execution and coordination of maintenance activities, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with vendor manuals, project specifications, and the Commissioning Execution Plan.

How to Apply
Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in a maintenance role within EPC projects in the Oil & Gas industry (contractor or operator).
Hands-on experience with:
Rotating machinery (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines)
Electrical systems (e.g., VFDs, MCCs, HV/MV/LV)
Instrumentation systems (e.g., transmitters, valves, DCS/PLC, ESD, F&G, HIPS)
Familiarity with ICAPS and commissioning processes is a strong advantage.
Solid technical knowledge of maintenance planning and execution.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Primavera or AutoCAD is a plus.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills in a multicultural environment.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
