Job Description
The Loan Recovery Officer will be responsible for securing timely payment through daily field visits to deliquent Customers, supporting daily branch and bialiff activities, while maintaing positive relationships with customers, following up and recovery of loans that are active and written offs.

How to Apply
Debt Collection & Negotiation: Engage with clients to recover overdue loans, negotiate repayment plans, and secure commitments to settle debts.
Portfolio Monitoring: Regularly review loan accounts to identify early signs of delinquency and take proactive measures.
Legal Coordination: Collaborate with legal teams to initiate and manage legal proceedings for non-performing loans, including asset liquidation.
Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of recovery activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Customer Interaction: Address client inquiries related to loan status and provide guidance on repayment options.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to facilitate smooth recovery processes and resolve issues promptly.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related Business Course.
Experience: At least 3 years in debt recovery, credit administration, or a similar role within the financial sector.
Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of financial analysis and credit policies.
High Level of Integrity, responsibility, Commitment and confidentiality
Basic Understanding of the legal frame related to credit and debt recovery
Should not be more than 40 years of age
Should be able to ride a motorcycle with a valid riding permit
Diploma in Law is an added advantage
