Qualifications, Education and Competencies
On behalf of our client, we seek to recruit a highly competent, hardworking and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Light Vehicle Driver. The Light Vehicle Driver will be responsible for ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods, encompass vehicle maintenance, route navigation, and adherence to traffic laws and Tasks include loading/unloading, scheduling, and record-keeping.

Operate and drive light vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations
Ensure the safety of goods by observing traffic rules and regulations
Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate schedules and share information
Handle unexpected situations such as accidents or breakdowns in a calm and professional manner

Valid driver's license for light vehicles
Proven work experience as a light vehicle driver
Ability to operate vehicles in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
Knowledge of local road networks and routes
Ability to read maps and follow GPS directions
Excellent driving and navigation skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends, if required
