Job Description
The Legal Services internship program is designed to provide students with practical experience in the legal and regulatory aspects of Kenya’s communications sector. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals in handling compliance, legal research, drafting documents, and supporting the Authority’s legal department in its mandate. The program offers a unique chance to integrate academic learning with professional practice, enhancing career readiness while contributing to CAK’s mission.

Assist in legal research and analysis on regulatory and compliance matters.
Support in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Participate in preparing legal opinions and briefs.
Assist in monitoring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and licenses.
Support case preparation and documentation for legal proceedings.
Provide administrative support to the Legal Services department.
Carry out any other duties assigned in line with training objectives.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Must be an ongoing student in a recognized university.
Field of study should be Law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
A letter from the university confirming current enrollment and support for the attachment is required.
Keen interest in gaining practical experience in legal and regulatory work.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
