Job Description
Reporting to senior management, the Legal Manager will provide legal and strategic support across the company’s operations. This includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements, leases, mortgages, financing arrangements, and partnerships. The role requires proactive identification and mitigation of legal and compliance risks, oversight of disputes and litigation, and engagement with regulators. The Legal Manager will also ensure statutory and corporate governance compliance, oversee Board activities, and implement policies and compliance programs in line with best practices. Additionally, the role will involve building capacity across departments to foster awareness of legal and compliance obligations.

How to Apply
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, joint ventures, leases, and financing arrangements.
Anticipate, identify, and mitigate legal and compliance risks.
Provide timely and practical legal opinions and advice to management.
Manage disputes, litigation, and regulatory engagement; liaise with external counsel where needed.
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and governance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Develop and enforce company-wide legal policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
Oversee corporate secretarial duties including Board meetings, resolutions, and shareholder matters.
Conduct legal and compliance training to strengthen awareness across departments.
Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
At least 3 years’ experience in legal practice, corporate law, or compliance.
Integrity and strong ethical standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability and foresight in managing legal risks and opportunities.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
