Bugema University is a private, co-educational institution of higher learning located in Kalagala, Luweero District, Uganda, approximately 33 kilometers northeast of Kampala. Established in 1948 as the Bugema Missionary Training School to train teachers and pastors for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in East Africa, it evolved into Bugema Missionary College and later Bugema Adventist College.
In 1994, it attained university status, and in 1997, it was licensed by the Uganda Ministry of Education and Sports to operate as a university. Affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Bugema University is part of the global Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second-largest Christian school system.
The university offers a diverse range of academic programs across various disciplines, including Business Administration, Education, Theology and Religious Studies, Science and Technology, Agriculture and Applied Sciences, Health and Allied Sciences, and Social Sciences.
It provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, some in collaboration with international institutions like the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton (Kenya), and Central Luzon State University (Philippines). The university's mission is to offer an excellent and distinctive holistic Christian education designed to prepare students, through training, research, and scholarship, for productive lives of service to God and the community with integrity, encapsulated in its motto: "Excellence in Service."

Job Description
The Lecturer will provide academic instruction and research guidance in the field of Nutrition. This includes developing and delivering course materials, supervising student projects, engaging in departmental administrative work, participating in curriculum development, and promoting academic research and publication. The position requires a high level of subject expertise, commitment to teaching excellence, and the ability to inspire and support students.

How to Apply

Master of Science in Nutrition
