Job Description
As a Laundry Assistant at Kabale Safari Club, you will play an important role in ensuring our guests and the team enjoy clean, fresh and well-presented linens and uniforms every day. You will be responsible for washing, drying, and ironing hotel items to the highest standards while maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry area.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, iron and fold hotel linens, uniforms and towels to the highest standards
- Sort laundry by color, fabric and type before washing
- Operate washing machines, dryers and irons safely and efficiently
- Ensure correct use of detergents and follow washing instructions
- Inspect linens and report any damages or stains that cannot be removed
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry area and storage rooms
- Ensure timely delivery of clean items to the relevant departments
- Assist with inventory of linen and laundry supplies
- Follow health, safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervison
