Land Acquisition and Title Research:
Assist in researching and analyzing land titles and ownership to facilitate the acquisition process.
Support the documentation of land-related information and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Community Engagement:
Work closely with community leaders and members to understand their perspectives, concerns, and expectations.
Assist in organizing community meetings and events to foster open communication and address community needs.
Resettlement Planning:
Contribute to the development and implementation of resettlement plans, ensuring they align with regulatory standards and community well-being.
Assist in the identification and documentation of affected households and individuals.
Social Impact Assessment:
Participate in the assessment of the social impacts of the project on local communities.
Collaborate with external consultants and internal teams to gather data and insights for impact assessments.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of land acquisition, community engagements, and resettlement activities.
Prepare reports summarizing key findings, challenges, and progress in land and social aspects of the project.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with government agencies, PAPS, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other stakeholders involved in land and social aspects.
Facilitate coordination meetings and information sharing.
Compliance Monitoring:
Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with social and environmental standards.
Contribute to the development of strategies to address non-compliance issues.

Key Requirements
Currently pursuing relevant degree program in social sciences, anthropology, environmental studies, Engineers, Surveyors, Community Development Studies) from recognized University
Must provide Introduction letter from university and copy of student I.D.
Must provide a partial transcript / testimonial showing current academic scores with a minimum of an upper-second degree.
Must be available full-time for the duration of the internship period.
Must write and submit an internship application letter.

Context and environment
The LSOC Intern will be based in the EACOP Office.
The LSOC Intern will report to the LSC Manager EACOP.
He/she will interact with Project teams and Construction Contractor teams on a continuous basis with the guidance of the LSOC Team.
He/She is responsible for ensuring and maintaining good relationships between the EACOP and all its stakeholders and the local community.
