Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory screening and diagnostic tests as specified in the study protocol and laboratory SOPs
- Ensure proper collection, labeling, transportation, processing, storage, and retrieval of study specimens
- Record, verify, and report laboratory results accurately and in a timely manner
- Identify abnormal or critical laboratory results and promptly communicate them to study clinicians
- Maintain laboratory equipment, maintenance logs, calibration records, and quality control documentation
- Ensure compliance with laboratory SOPs, biosafety requirements, and quality management standards
- Participate in data cleaning activities and respond to laboratory-related data queries
- Contribute to study reports, presentations, and manuscripts
- Maintain accurate inventories of laboratory supplies and initiate replenishment requests
- Package and prepare specimens for transportation and shipment to collaborating laboratories
- Perform routine quality assurance and quality control procedures
- Participate in development, review, and implementation of laboratory SOPs
