Employment Type: Full-time | Ongoing Contract
Reports To: Director of Impact (with a dotted line to Director of Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health)
We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Knowledge Sharing Manager to lead the development and dissemination of tools, insights, and evidence from our MNCH programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to improving global health outcomes through strategic knowledge sharing.
Position Summary:
The Knowledge Sharing Manager will be responsible for capturing, developing, and distributing knowledge products that showcase Adara’s impact and learning. The role focuses on amplifying our influence through high-quality documentation, strategic partnerships, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate will be able to translate technical content into accessible formats for diverse audiences and lead collaborations with stakeholders including government entities, academic institutions, and implementing partners.

How to Apply
Lead the development and execution of Adara’s knowledge sharing strategy
Document and package insights, tools, and evidence from MNCH programmes
Produce high-quality knowledge products (briefs, case studies, learning reports, presentations)
Engage with national and global stakeholders to share best practices and influence policy
Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, and external partners to promote learning
Support digital knowledge sharing through platforms, repositories, and online tools
Ensure knowledge management activities align with Adara’s values and strategic goals
About You:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Global Health, Health Communications, Knowledge Management, or related field (clinical background is a plus)
Minimum 5 years of experience in public health, knowledge sharing, or communications—preferably in the MNCH or healthcare sector
Proven expertise in designing and leading knowledge sharing initiatives
Strong writing and editorial skills with the ability to make technical content accessible and compelling
Experience developing knowledge products for a range of audiences (government, donors, communities)
Familiarity with Uganda’s health system and national MNCH frameworks
Experience working with government ministries, development agencies, or academic institutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital content creation tools
Basic graphic design and visual storytelling skills are an asset
Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination abilities
Passion for health equity, social justice, and commitment to Adara’s mission
Willingness to undergo a police background check as the role may involve work with children
Child Protection and Safeguarding:
Adara Group has strict safeguarding policies in place to ensure that only the most suitable individuals work with the children in our programmes. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal background check and sign child protection codes of conduct before starting employment.
