Position Overview
Raising The Village is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic Analytics team within the Venn department. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in data to contribute to meaningful impact. The successful candidate will support the entire data lifecycle—from collection and cleaning to analysis, reporting, and innovation—while promoting learning and knowledge-sharing across teams.

How to Apply
Analyze and interpret program data (inputs, outputs, and outcomes) to inform strategic decisions.
Clean, sort, validate, and aggregate raw datasets to ensure quality and consistency for analysis.
Assist in conducting data quality assessments and oversee control processes for field data collection.
Organize and manage data outputs, ensuring all reports are accurately completed, well-documented, and stored appropriately for future use.
Collaborate with Venn team units to design, improve, and routinely update data collection and aggregation tools to enhance data quality.
Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of RTV’s Centralized M&E Database, including automated workflows and real-time data visualization.
Support planning and coordination of field surveys, including creating schedules, work plans, and safeguarding protocols to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Help build the capacity of field staff in data collection and presentation for further analysis.
Assist in compiling and completing project Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) reports to support informed decision-making.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in data analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in statistical analysis using STATA; familiarity with R or Python is an added advantage.
Skills & Attributes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and data accuracy.
Solid understanding of Theories of Change (TOC) and their application in development programs.
Familiarity with M&E methodologies, including results-based management and participatory evaluation.
Experience in data quality assurance and M&E reporting.
Effective trainer and facilitator with the ability to support capacity building.
Self-driven team player who thrives in dynamic environments.
Able to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
Experience conducting participatory research in last-mile communities is a plus.
