Job Description
The Junior Customer Service Agent will be responsible for ensuring passengers receive a seamless travel experience through various stages of their journey. This includes assisting with check-in procedures, verifying travel documents, handling passenger queries, managing baggage processes, and maintaining service areas. The role also involves ensuring adherence to safety, security, and regulatory guidelines. The selected candidates will be expected to maintain a professional and customer-friendly approach at all times while working collaboratively with the ground operations team.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist passengers during check-in, boarding, and baggage arrival areas.
Follow all relevant policies, standard operating procedures, and service level agreements.
Ensure timely and efficient operation of assigned tasks.
Check functionality and cleanliness of check-in counters.
Greet and direct passengers at terminals.
Verify immigration and border control requirements and update records.
Ensure baggage acceptance complies with international and local regulations.
Use the WorldTracer system to report delayed or damaged baggage.
Answer passenger queries related to flights, gate numbers, changes, and upgrades.
Announce flight updates and ensure accurate passenger boarding.
Report operational and safety concerns to supervisors.
Comply with workplace safety, health, and environmental standards.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or aviation-related role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good command of English (verbal and written).
Knowledge of passenger service systems and airport operations is an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Customer-oriented mindset and problem-solving abilities.
