Job Description

An IT Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining an organization's information technology infrastructure and ensuring its optimal performance.

System Administration:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, and servers.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.

  • Perform regular system updates and patches to keep software and systems secure and up-to-date.


Network Management:

  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN.

Technical Support:

Data Management:

  • Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and recovery processes.

  • Manage databases and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

  • Implement data management best practices and compliance with relevant regulations.


Software Management:

  • Install, update, and manage software applications used within the organization.

  • Coordinate with software vendors for licensing, support, and updates.

  • Customize and configure software to meet the specific needs of the organization.


Project Management:

Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.


Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.

Generate reports on system performance, security incidents, and other relevant metrics.

Document and communicate IT policies and best practices to users.

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer science, Information Systems, software engineering, or related field.

  • With over 5 years of experience in IT support roles, including software installations, networks, operating systems, and solving technical difficulties in cloud platforms, networks, and hardware configuration. Proficiency in working with servers, networks, computers, and peripherals.

  • Extensive knowledge of system

  • Advanced knowledge of hardware and software configuration.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and create work schedules with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, creative, and technical problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and display initiative

  • Able to work under minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment
