Job Description
The IT Officer will be at the core of ASG's digital ecosystem, managing and maintaining critical IT infrastructure, hardware operations, secure networks, cloud-based identity frameworks, and enterprise systems to support the institution's MPA programme. The role sits within the Finance and Operations department and reports to the Manager Technology.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Administer the institution's core ERP and Student Information Systems (SIS), manage role-based user workflows, monitor vendor SLAs, and coordinate system upgrades.
- Oversee the institutional Learning Management System (Canvas, Moodle, or equivalent), managing academic term setups, user enrolments, and third-party integrations.
- Manage the Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), configure compliance controls, manage distribution lists, and enforce Entra ID security policies.
- Drive secure onboarding/offboarding pipelines, enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), manage Single Sign-On (SSO), and conduct periodic access audits.
- Monitor system access logs, investigate unusual activity, execute vulnerability assessments, and manage endpoint patch deployments via tools like Microsoft Intune.
- Deliver second-level user support, design technical knowledge base guides, run employee digital orientation sessions, and provide backup troubleshooting for hardware and networks.
