Dei BioPharma Ltd is a biotech and pharmaceutical research firm duly incorporated in Uganda Specializing in the development and manufacture of innovative medicines and vaccines. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, site Matugga, Wakiso district, Uganda, shall produce high-quality medicines across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including:
• Dermatology: Skin conditions.
• Orthopedics: Musculoskeletal system.
• Psychiatry: Mental health and disorders.
• Immunology Immune system and related disorders.
• Neurology: Nervous system disorders.
• Gastroenterology: Digestive system and its disorders.
• Endocrinology: Hormones and endocrine system.
• Pulmonology: Respiratory system and lung conditions
• Cardiology: Heart and cardiovascular system.
• Oncology.: Cancer treatment
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
IT Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
Ensure the reliable operation of IT systems and network infrastructure.
Manage data backups, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity processes.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise IT staff, including system administrators, network engineers, and support technicians.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
Project Management:
Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the organization’s data and IT infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A Master’s degree in IT management or business administration is advantageous.
Experience:
Several years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in network administration, system security, and IT infrastructure management.
Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and data storage technologies.
Knowledge of programming languages, database management, and IT support systems.
Management Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret IT performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
Personal Attributes:
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
