Key Responsibilities
Sign language interpretation for people who need special communication skills
Translation of documents and Interpretation of different ‘communities’ different languages to working languages
Support teams while conducting different protection interventions in communities such as community mobilization/ needs assessments/community-based assessments and others.
Support home visits under case management under supervision of protection teams
Support training sessions with interpretation
Support Individual sessions/interviews with interpretation
Support group information sessions with interpretation
Any other activity related as agreed upon with Protection team

Qualifications and Experience Required:
Mandatory Requirements
For verbal Interpreters, an advanced school certificate from any registered recognized High school is key.
For sign language Interpreters, Certificate or Diploma in sign language interpretation is required.
Must be fluent in English, Arabic, French, or any, Fluent in any of the local languages spoken by displaced communities.

Knowledge and experience in conducting Case Management Processes is an asset
Experience working with refugees is an asset.
