Job Description
As an Internal Communications Editor, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and producing content for both corporate social media and internal employee communications. You will manage content calendars, conduct client status meetings, brief content and design teams, and analyze engagement insights. This role requires strong project management capabilities, editorial oversight, creative thinking, and an ability to deliver strategic content that aligns with client business goals. The ideal candidate is organized, visually and editorially savvy, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Plan and produce content for corporate social media and blogs
Develop internal communications for various stakeholders and platforms
Maintain content calendars and publishing schedules
Lead weekly status meetings with client teams
Brainstorm and execute creative campaigns and concepts
Brief designers, video producers, and writers as needed
Write and edit content for multiple formats
Work with the insights team to compile analytics and reporting
Manage out-of-scope and ad-hoc client projects
Apply strategic frameworks to guide content creation
Ensure adherence to editorial standards and platform best practices
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Experience & Skills:
Mid to senior-level experience in writing, editing, and project management
Strong strategic thinking and content planning capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe software
Understanding of analytics and ability to draw insights from data
Strong visual storytelling instincts
Experience with enterprise social networks (ESN) is advantageous
Excellent multitasking and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
