Job Description
The Internal Auditor will play a key role in assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the organization’s internal control systems and risk management processes. The role involves conducting audits of financial records, verifying compliance with internal policies and external regulations (including CMA and CBK guidelines), and compiling comprehensive audit reports. The auditor will identify potential gaps, assess risk exposure, and provide actionable recommendations for strengthening compliance, efficiency, and financial integrity.

How to Apply
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
Perform regular audits of financial records, transactions, and processes.
Verify compliance with internal policies, Capital Markets Authority (CMA), Central Bank of Kenya (CBK), and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Identify risks, audit gaps, and propose corrective measures to improve compliance and operational efficiency.
Prepare and present detailed audit reports to management, highlighting findings, potential risks, and recommended actions.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
CPA-K (Certified Public Accountant of Kenya).
Experience:
2 to 4 years of experience in internal audit roles.
Additional Requirements:
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
High standards of integrity and professionalism.
