Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Audit Assistant located in Accra. The Internal Audit Assistant will be assisting in performing analytical reviews of audit documents and preparing necessary financial statement, reports, documentation, and compliance reports for the organization.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform regular reconciliation and analysis of various revenue streams in the business unit.
- Receivable audit on all the business units and flag critical areas such as age of receivables, delay invoicing, un-invoiced transactions and over-due pending payment.
- Spot cash check, cash balance verification and reconciliation.
- Ascertain the existence and true value of accounts by counting and reconciling cash on hand and cash account ledgers as well as confirming balances on hand.
- Carry out financial posting review, confirm the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information.
- Review and approve petty cash disbursement request on TBS.
- Carry out payroll audit, payroll payment reconciliation and outsourcing payroll to invoice review on a monthly basis.
- Carry out monthly bank reconciliation review.
- Periodically perform internal audits of the different departments and branches for conformance to lay down control procedures as documented in the Internal Audit plan of the year.
