Job Description
Reporting to the Site & Project Manager, you will be the project’s primary point of contact: gather client briefs, develop concepts and detailed layouts, select materials/finishes, generate quotations and shop drawings, coordinate procurement/production/installation, supervise site works, enforce safety and quality standards, manage budgets and timelines, and maintain proactive client communication. You will drive continuous improvement, document progress (photos/videos/reports), and lead cross-functional collaboration across design, engineering, production, warehouse, subcontractors, and vendors.

How to Apply
Lead client discovery; translate requirements into design concepts, layouts, and specs.
Conduct site visits/measurements; assess feasibility and risks.
Produce detailed designs (plans, elevations, 3D where applicable), material/colour schedules.
Prepare accurate quotes, sales orders, shop drawings, and cut lists for production.
Plan project scope, timelines, budgets; allocate resources and create Gantt schedules.
Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, warehouse, installers, and subcontractors.
Supervise installations; verify workmanship and finishes meet specs/standards; resolve defects.
Maintain continuous client communication; manage changes/variations; ensure satisfaction.
Track costs, identify savings, and manage project profitability.
Implement rigorous quality control during production and installation; conduct audits.
Manage vendor relationships; verify deliveries; support sourcing and negotiations.
Enforce safety compliance on sites; participate in safety audits and corrective actions.
Document progress (daily logs, photos/videos, productivity and incident reports).
Lead/participate in team meetings; mentor best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Any other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience managing interior fit-out projects in a manufacturing/construction setting; wood-products experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of interior design principles, wood materials, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Gantt scheduling, and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
Ability to read/interpret interior design and architectural drawings/specifications.
Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for wood products.
Excellent organization, multitasking, and time management; strong attention to detail and aesthetics.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
