About the Role
JOB Distributors is seeking an experienced Information Technology Officer to support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems across the organization. This is a mid-level technical role focused on enterprise business applications, systems analysis, user support, and software development.
The IT Officer will play a key role in ensuring the effective functioning of hardware, software, and network infrastructure—both on-premises and cloud-based—while also supporting business automation and data-driven decision-making.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Support
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems (local & cloud).
Provide end-user technical support both remotely and on-site.
Manage and monitor network components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Ensure cybersecurity through antivirus protection, data backups, and access controls.
System Administration & Compliance
Enforce IT policies, standards, and security protocols.
Maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and processes.
Monitor systems for compliance risks and resolve issues promptly.
Enterprise Systems & Development
Support, maintain, and enhance ERP systems (preferably Odoo Enterprise or SAP Business One).
Develop scripts and backend processes using Python, PHP, or Dart/Flutter.
Manage business applications, including Sales Force Automation (SFA) and SaaS platforms.
Conduct system testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.
Data Management & Reporting
Manage PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, including writing and optimizing queries.
Analyze and visualize data using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance indicators.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Required Experience:
Experience with ERP systems (Odoo Enterprise and/or SAP Business One is a strong advantage).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python; experience with PHP and Flutter is a plus.
Familiarity with mobile/web app development ecosystems (Android, iOS, web).
Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Understanding of SaaS platforms and cloud technologies.
Exposure to system administration in Linux/Ubuntu or Windows environments.

Ability to manage APIs, web services, and data migration
Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools
