Job Description
The ICT Interns will assist the Corporation ’s ICT Department in implementing and maintaining information systems, providing user support, and ensuring smooth operation of IT infrastructure. The internship offers recent graduates the opportunity to gain exposure to practical ICT functions, enhance their technical and professional skills, and contribute to the overall efficiency of KDIC’s ICT operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in system administration and support tasks.
Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
Support the maintenance and updating of ICT infrastructure.
Assist with network monitoring and troubleshooting.
Contribute to ICT-related projects as assigned.
Maintain proper documentation of ICT processes and tasks.
Perform any other ICT-related duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Graduated within the last three (3) years.
Must be unemployed and with no prior relevant work experience.
Must not have benefited from a similar internship program.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Adaptability and willingness to learn.
Additional Requirements for Successful Candidates:
Valid personal medical insurance cover (NHIF or reputable provider).
Registration with the National Social Security Fund (NSSF).
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation.
Personal accident insurance for the duration of the internship.
Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) PIN.
