Job Description

The Practicum is a key component of the MGNL program, designed to build competencies in strategic leadership, governance, diversity and inclusion, professionalism, health policy, and transformative change. Practicum Preceptors will provide experiential learning opportunities, supervising and mentoring students virtually, in hybrid formats, or in person, depending on placement. They will guide learners in applying theoretical knowledge to practice, foster professional growth, and ensure alignment with Sigma Nursing competencies. Since placements may be international, preceptors must demonstrate adaptability to diverse healthcare, cultural, and regulatory environments.

  • Demonstrated experience in health leadership, governance, or clinical education.

  • Ability to work across cultural, regulatory, and healthcare contexts.
