Job Purpose
As an ICT Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in enhancing and protecting organizational value through independent, objective assurance and advisory services. This role ensures the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance processes, aligned with International Internal Audit Standards and best practices.

How to Apply
Develop or oversee the development of risk-based audit plans focused on assessing internal controls, governance, and risk management.
Perform comprehensive risk and control assessments, especially within the ICT domain.
Execute and supervise audit procedures in accordance with approved plans; allocate responsibilities among team members and manage audits from start to finish.
Review audit work performed by junior staff, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
Maintain clear and concise audit documentation in line with International Auditing Standards.
Identify and recommend enhancements in controls, governance, and risk management, and provide insights that contribute to business value.
Proactively assess risks and identify opportunities for strengthening the organization’s ICT systems and processes.
Draft and present high-quality internal audit reports with actionable findings.
Conduct follow-up audits for previously identified high-risk issues.
Mentor and train audit team members, especially in the use of Computer Aided Audit Tools (CAATs).
Carry out special investigations, consulting assignments, and other tasks as directed by the Manager Internal Audit or Chief Internal Auditor.
Fulfill additional supervisory and administrative responsibilities as required.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, ACCA, or CPA are mandatory.
A Master’s or advanced business-related degree is an added advantage.
Experience:
3–5 years’ professional experience in auditing, preferably within a formal internal audit function.
Experience in IT auditing or working in an ICT-focused environment is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of audit, accounting, and IT auditing principles.
Proficiency in Computer Aided Audit Tools (CAATs).
Solid understanding of risk assessment, internal control systems, and governance frameworks.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with IPPF (International Professional Practices Framework) standards.
Strong numerical, supervisory, and project management skills.
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
Behavioral Traits:
Professional integrity and ethical conduct; respects confidentiality of information.
Strong sense of responsibility and courage in executing audit duties.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
Highly organized and efficient, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
