Job Description
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the full lifecycle of HVAC systems including routine inspection, servicing, repair, and installation. The technician will be expected to identify faults, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and write detailed job reports. The successful candidate must have sound knowledge of VRF systems and a deep understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols related to HVAC operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct regular troubleshooting and diagnostics on HVAC systems
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Complete and submit job cards detailing completed tasks
Report faulty or malfunctioning HVAC equipment to supervisors
Install HVAC systems as required
Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Minimum of HND in Mechanical Engineering
Training or certification in VRF systems is essential
Experience:
At least 8 years of practical experience in HVAC servicing and installation
Competencies:
Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
Skilled in HVAC system installation
Ability to draft technical reports
In-depth knowledge of safety, health, and environmental protocols
