Job Description
The HR Assistant will answer and direct phone calls, maintain applicant and employee records, and process employment applications. The role involves coordinating pre-employment documentation, creating personnel files, updating HR communication boards, and posting legally required notices. The HR Assistant will also support the HR team in ensuring compliance with labor laws and Marriott policies, protect confidential information, and foster positive working relationships. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent service to employees and applicants.

How to Apply
Answer phone calls, take messages, and provide HR-related assistance.
File, track, and process job applications and interview documentation.
Create personnel files for new employees and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate pre-employment documentation and I-9 verification requirements.
Design and update HR communication boards regarding recruitment, transfers, and promotions.
Post required legal or regulatory notices in compliance with labor laws.
Maintain confidentiality of HR information and protect company assets.
Assist with employee queries and ensure proper coverage for HR operations.
Support supervisors by preparing HR-related correspondence and reports.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships across teams.
Perform other duties as assigned by HR Supervisors.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
CHRP certification is an added advantage.
Experience
At least 1 year of related HR or administrative work experience.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong organizational, filing, and record-keeping skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.
Teamwork, interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude.
Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, HR systems).
