Job Description
The HR Officer / Recruiter will oversee the recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to onboarding, while also supporting HR operations such as employee records, contracts, compliance, and staff queries. The role will serve as a point of contact for HR-related matters, support employee relations, and contribute to HR process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated HR professional with strong organizational and communication skills to gain hands-on experience in both recruitment and HR operations within a dynamic consulting environment.

Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job posting, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checks, and offer management.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and draft accurate job descriptions.
Source candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and recruitment agencies.
Maintain candidate databases and recruitment reports.
Support onboarding and orientation of new hires.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, Nigerian labor laws, and statutory requirements.
Assist with preparation and renewal of employment contracts.
Provide HR support in leave management, staff queries, and policy interpretation.
Act as a contact point for HR-related issues during the contract period.
Support performance management and probation reviews where applicable.
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR and recruitment processes.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 6 months – 2 years of HR and recruitment experience.
Solid understanding of HR practices, recruitment processes, and Nigerian labor laws.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
