Job Description
Reporting to the Audit & Compliance (A&C) Manager, the Hotel Internal Auditor will plan and execute audits across all departments (restaurant/bar, kitchen, stores, rooms/events, finance, procurement, payroll). You will validate figures and postings, assess control design and operating effectiveness, ensure accurate sales/stock records, and drive compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role partners with the Lounge Manager and department heads to agree action plans, issues clear audit reports with recommendations, and follows up remediation to closure. You will also maintain F&B inventory databases (including pricing), support physical counts, analyze spend, identify leakages, and recommend risk-mitigation and cost-control measures.

How to Apply
Check figures, postings, documents, and records from all departments for accuracy and proper documentation.
Perform risk-based audits covering revenue management, expenses, payroll, procurement, stores, kitchen, and inventory (hotel & apartments).
Build a strong compliance culture; enforce zero tolerance for unreviewed transactions and income leakages.
Examine recurring/non-recurring expenditures and evaluate financial control systems.
Ensure sales reports/records are accurate, reliable, and reconciled.
Liaise with Accounts/consultants to harmonize F&B prices and maintain liquor/stock controls.
Collate, check, and analyze stock and purchase items; coordinate/attend/monitor physical inventories.
Establish and maintain an F&B inventory database with up-to-date pricing.
Identify process gaps/loopholes; recommend risk aversion and cost-control measures.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws/regulations (tax, safety, financial reporting).
Prepare clear audit reports with findings, risks, and actionable recommendations; present to A&C Manager/management.
Work with department heads to implement corrective actions; track and report remediation progress.
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Conduct special investigations as assigned; stay current with auditing standards and hospitality best practices.
BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional certifications are an advantage).
3–5 years’ proven experience as Internal Auditor/Senior Auditor; 5+ years in quality hotels preferred.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards/procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
Advanced computer skills (MS Office), accounting software, and databases; ability to analyze large data sets and compile detailed reports.
High attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, sound independent judgment, strong communication, and stakeholder management.
Proven integrity, professionalism, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
