Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Science who will also teach iGCSE and IB Chemistry to our secondary school students. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to lead the Science department within our IB Diploma Programme curriculum.
Education Stage: Key Stage 3,4 and DP
Curriculum: iGCSE/International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP)
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Science department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Teach iGCSE and IB Chemistry courses effectively, inspiring students to achieve their best.
- Develop curriculum plans aligned with IB DP requirements.
- Support professional development for science staff members.
- Foster a collaborative environment among teachers, students, and parents.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
