Department: Quality & Safety
Reports to: Accountable Manager / Chief Executive Officer
Status: Full-time
JOB PURPOSE
To provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Flight Training Centre’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure full compliance with Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) regulations, international aviation standards, and organizational policies. The Head of Quality is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving all training, operational, and administrative processes to guarantee the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory adherence.

HEAD OF QUALITY QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate Diploma in Quality Management
SMS training in Aviation Industry
Experience and qualifications in conducting safety/quality audits and inspections
3 years experience in implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems in Aviation industry
Experience as Aviation Safety Investigator or Safety/ Quality Manager or Safety Risk Manager
Extensive knowledge and experience in implementing and managing QMS
Pilot License (current or lapsed)
