Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising Mwananchi Credit’s IT systems, infrastructure, and digital platforms to ensure efficiency, data security, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires spearheading the development and integration of fintech solutions tailored to the microfinance and financial services industry. The Head of IT will also lead IT staff, manage vendor relationships, and oversee digital transformation initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. The role demands strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and proven experience in managing IT systems within financial institutions.

How to Apply

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT management roles.
Proven expertise in financial or microfinance technology systems.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, fintech solutions, and digital transformation.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong understanding of IT security, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
