Job Description
ADM is seeking a Head of Commercial for its Flavors division in Africa to lead regional leadership teams and execute commercial growth strategies. The role focuses on driving profitable revenue, identifying strategic growth initiatives like joint ventures, and strengthening customer engagement in the food ingredients sector. Based in Nairobi, the leader will position Africa as a key growth engine within the global organization.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the flavors commercial organization across Africa, overseeing a regional leadership team and in-market commercial structures
- Define and execute the Africa commercial and growth strategy within ADM's Flavors business
- Drive profitable revenue growth and expand market share across the region
- Identify and lead strategic growth initiatives, including partnerships, joint ventures, and new market entry models
- Strengthen customer engagement across key segments in food ingredients
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, regionally distributed leadership team
- Position Africa as a core growth engine within ADM's Flavors division
- Partner cross-functionally to further develop regional infrastructure, including supply chain and manufacturing capabilities
