We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware Support Engineer to join our team. The Hardware Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services for hardware-related issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our hardware systems and infrastructure.
Hardware Installation and Configuration:
Install, configure, and deploy hardware components, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, and peripherals.
Ensure proper setup and integration of hardware systems according to specifications and requirements.
Hardware Maintenance and Repair:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as hardware diagnostics, cleaning, and preventive maintenance, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform repairs or replacements as necessary, both onsite and remotely.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and internal stakeholders, responding to hardware-related inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with other support teams, including software support and network support, to address complex technical issues and ensure seamless operation of integrated systems.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, including serial numbers, configurations, and warranty information.
Document hardware-related procedures, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Generate reports on hardware performance, maintenance activities, and support ticket metrics.
Hardware Upgrades and Expansion:
Assess hardware requirements and recommend upgrades or expansions to meet evolving business needs.
Plan and execute hardware upgrades, migrations, and expansions in coordination with other teams and stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Hardware Support Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
Hands-on experience with hardware installation, configuration, and repair.
Proficiency in hardware diagnostic tools and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with end-users and technical teams.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) are a plus.
