Job Description
As part of the Facilities Management (FM) team, the intern will be responsible for facility inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance coordination, materials sourcing, contractor monitoring, utilities tracking, and safety compliance. The role will also involve administrative duties related to the Integrated Work Management System (IWMS) to enhance operational efficiency. The position is based primarily in Lagos, with support required for FM activities in Abuja.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct facility inspections to identify safety hazards, defects, or areas needing repair or renovation.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring timely execution by service providers.
Support the sourcing of quality materials, spares, and equipment through the company's processes.
Monitor contractor performance, track KPIs, and manage invoicing and payments.
Administer the IWMS, tracking client requests and resolving maintenance issues.
Collate, review, and reconcile data on utility consumption and AGO inventory management.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, coordinating implementation with service providers.
Facilitate the smooth operation of office and residential facilities.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Social Science, or related fields (minimum Second Class Upper).
Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program within the past two years.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge or certification in facilities management.
