Job Description
Christian Miracle Hospital is seeking female General Practitioner (GP) Medical Doctors with a specific interest and skill set in gynaecology. The role involves working on a shift basis to provide comprehensive clinical care, perform surgical procedures, and manage obstetric cases in an NHIS-accredited facility in Enugu.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Conduct comprehensive outpatient consultations, manage antenatal and fertility clinics, and provide specialized care for obstetric and gynaecological cases.
- Surgical Procedures: Independently perform or assist in obstetric and gynaecological surgeries, including Caesarean Sections (C-S), fibroid, ovarian cyst, appendectomies, and other gynaecological procedures
- Patient Management: Lead daily ward rounds, manage pre- and post-operative care, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centric services.
- Emergency Response: Provide 24/7 on-site medical support during scheduled shifts and handle obstetric emergencies with precision and speed.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintain accurate medical records, participate in clinical audits, and collaborate with the nursing and lab teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Responding to patients' medical problems by referring to their history, carrying out diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and referral, where necessary.
- Ordering lab tests and interpreting the test results.
- Maintaining confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Collecting, recording, and maintaining sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports.
- Catch babies, perform operations for patients who require it, routine clinical ward rounds
- Explaining procedures or prescribed treatments to patients.
- Liaising with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
