Job Description

The Front Desk/Admin Officer is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring efficient front office operations. The role involves handling bookings and inquiries, maintaining visitor records, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate must be personable, detail-oriented, and proficient with office tools such as Microsoft Office and email platforms.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all guests and visitors.

  • Handle phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule bookings.

  • Ensure proper guest check-ins and maintain visitor logs.

  • Provide administrative support to management and event staff.

  • Maintain a tidy and professional front desk and reception area.

  • Coordinate communication between clients and internal departments.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Minimum Qualification:

  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related field.

Experience:

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in front desk or administrative roles.

Key Competencies:

  • Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email communication.

  • Must reside near Shapati/Bogije area for easy commute.
